Who are Green Motion?

Green Motion are a Franchised car hire company that operate worldwide. This Client Portal works specifically with two locations within this franchise. Green Motion Heathrow and Green Motion Gatwick.

What is this website for?

This website is for the payment of outstanding administrative fee’s for the accumulation of penalty charge notices or other cost incurred during the hire of a vehicle. Clients can also pay outstanding invoices such as rental extensions via this portal. Also available on this website is the facility to request to extend your rental.

Why has your website changed?

The website has recently changed as felt now was the right time to create a new and improved website where our customers are able to use where appropriate when hiring a vehicle from one of our locations.

Can I book a car through this website?

No, unfortunately we cannot make a booking for you on this website. We do however have a direct link to the Green Motion website on the home page were you would be able to book a vehicle should you wish.

Why is this website collecting payments?

Clients who have hired a vehicle from either Green Motion Heathrow or Green Motion Gatwick may be asked to pay outstanding balances using this service. This secure portal allows for customers to make a payment with a separate card should they wish, without the need to return to the location to do so.

How do I pay any outstanding charges owed?

To make a payment it is very simple. Please go to the payments page and select the product you would like to make a payment for. We will require some specific information from you to make the payment. This will all be on your Rental Agreement. If you have any issues the branch that you hire the vehicle from will be able to assist further.

What types of payment do you accept?

Why am I being charged an admin fee?

The reason a charge for an admin fee is in place is because when a contravention is received whilst on hire with you it will first go to the legal owners of the vehicle. They will then transfer this into our name and charge us an admin fee for doing so. When the fine is received by us we then transfer the fine into your name and charge our own admin fee on top of the fee we are charged.

Can I appeal my PCN?

Yes you can appeal your PCN with the fine issuer, however this does not mean that the admin fee will be waived. If you are successful in getting the fine cancelled with the issuer you may be able to request payment from issuer for the costs that you have incurred as a result of the fine that was received.

Can I extend my car hire?

Yes we would be happy to discuss a possible extension with you should you wish. Please go to the appropriate extension page for your hire and there you will be able to request a price for an extension. To confirm this is just for a quote and no payments will be made at this point.

I have had an accident, what do I do?

If you have had an accident please first make sure everyone involved is unhurt and safe, or the relevant medical authorities have been contacted. Please ensure that you have called the accident line (0844 414 8408) and followed the procedure outlined in your Rental Agreement. Once this is completed please complete our Accident Report Form.

Can I get an update on my accident report?

Yes absolutely. Please go to the request an update on page under Accidents and you will be able to contact us from there. Alternatively if they have provided you with contact details you will be able to contact them directly.
